Back to School Picnic - 2pm September 27, 2025: Adventure Playground 165thst & Edgecombe Ave

Glow Dance - Date TBD, usually takes place in December
The Glow Dance is a casual dance for all grades held after school by the PA! It is a great chance for the kids to hang socially as a group, snack on pizza and treats and work on their dance moves. Keep your eyes and ears out for the call for volunteers! We always need help decorating, chaperoning and serving food.
Readathon - Spring
The Readathon is a PA sponsored fundraiser that begins in the Spring. It is a great way to get our kids reading books while also raising funds for our amazing school.
Pi Day - March 14th (or near that date)
Pi Day is the annual celebration of the mathematical constant Pi. For Pi day the PA sponsors a “Pi” eating event for the kids to discuss mathematics and eat delicious pies.
Bake Sales - various dates
Throughout the year, the PA sponsors several bake sales to raise funds. Announcements will go out calling for volunteers to work the sale as well as donate baked goods and beverages. While we love home made goods, we very much welcome store bought baked goods as well healthy options like fruit! We simply ask you to please avoid the nuts.
Teacher Appreciation Lunch - Spring
To honor our amazing teachers the PA hosts a lunch during teacher appreciation week. While we know a lunch cannot possibly show the full gratitude we feel for their fantastic work, we hope it does give them a day to feel seen and appreciated. In order to pull this off, we need you! Watch for a volunteer call to help with decorating, serving and clean up.
