We Need You!
Every parent and guardian of a student at The Mott Hall School is automatically a member of the Parent Association! We welcome and encourage you to get involved.
Ways To Get Involved
Attend PA Meetings
The PA general meeting is the place where we as parents get to use our voices to support our school. It is also the place to learn about new and ongoing initiatives, hear from school administrators and contribute new ideas.
PA meetings are held every month on the third Tuesday of that month at 6:30pm. Please refer to the PA calendar for specific dates. We look forward to hearing from you!
Volunteer for an Event
We host several PA sponsored events each year as well as assist with school events when needed.
Volunteering at events is an excellent way to show support for our school. Whether you want to help plan the event or simply help on the day of, we welcome it all!
You will surely walk away with new friends and a better understanding of how our wonderful school operates.
Join a committee
Joining a committee is a great way to support both the PA and the school! At this time, The Mott Hall School PA has one committee, the Fundraising Committee. We are looking to expand our committees in the coming year and look forward to hearing ideas from you, the parents!
If you are interested in joining the Fundraising Committee, please email the PA at MHS223PA@gmail.com.
Join the PA Board
All parents and guardians of a current Mott Hall student are eligible to serve as an officer of the PA! We are always looking for parents that believe in the Mott Hall School PA and its mission.
Elections are held in June of each year. There is a possibility a position could open mid-year, and in that case the current board will inform the PA community and hold a special election to fill that seat. Keep your eyes and ears open for your chance to join!
Join the SLT
The School Leadership Team (SLT) meets monthly and is comprised of parents, faculty and school administration. It is responsible for developing the school’s Comprehensive Education plan, or CEP.
Elections are held in June of each year. If you are interested in serving on the SLT, let the PA know in the spring and we will make sure you have the information you need to run for a position.
